In an endeavor to start promoting tourism in India, the Ministry of
tourism has started Atithi Devo Bhava program which aims at creating
awareness amongst people of India, especially the important stakeholders
of tourism industry, about preservation of our varied and rich culture
& heritage. It also aims on imparting good conduct and behavioral
values into people of India by using the concept tag line "Atithi Devo
Bhava" which in sanskrit means the guest is god. I think we all Indians
should revive our past and bring glory to our country for it is not only
the economic benefits our country shall get, but also the fame and name
of a country with utmost hospitality.
